The Malscher beer garden is an institution! It is primarily a pure beer garden and only then a restaurant. Wonderfully located in the center of the village behind the town hall in a cul-de-sac, on ancient ice cellars with old chestnut trees. Like 150 years ago, you enter the beer garden through an old iron grille and stand on fine gravel. It's a kind of inner courtyard, surrounded by an open tavern, kitchen and bowling alley. The bar and kitchen are open to the garden. You can sit half-open with it even in the rain. Wonderful. Comfortable chairs and sometimes tables invite you. Since 2020 under new management, after decades of solid management, the most beautiful beer garden in the Karlsruhe and Rastatt region shines with a modernized concept. Classic, good and proven cuisine, also from the grill, with light beer, pilsner and wheat round off the offer. We went there on Sundays to eat white sausage. A dream.

Very nice chestnut-shaded large courtyard. Very friendly service, inexpensive food. Point deduction for the somewhat casually practiced Covid-19 protection by the service staff.

Under new management since May 2020! The menu was expanded to include meat cakes with potato salad, currywurst and very tasty tarte flambee. Of course, there is still the classic beer garden plate with sausage salad, Radi, quark and Obazda with pretzel! Unfortunately, due to the limited number of visitors from Corona, it is still the most beautiful and oldest beer garden with the most magnificent chestnuts in the region - give the thing a chance and enjoy the beer.

Nice beer garden. The selection is not overly large, but it tastes good. It's also pretty quick and it's not too expensive. I am consistently very satisfied.

Unfriendly staff, 2.5 hours for a beer and not ordered cold food. As could the very nice boss nothing good. With such a staff one can only have sympathy for the Cefin. Pity! On further recommendation I look away.

Idyllic little beer garden in the middle of the Malsch. The actual beer garden is in a courtyard, which is completely overgrown with trees, so that you can sit outside well in summer.

Friendly service. But it does not work to wait an hour for a schnitzel with bread. If the service had not been so friendly we would not have accepted it. My favorite restaurant will not be.

For many years the most beautiful beer garden! Great old trees, very comfortable! This year is probably a new, but the food (sausage salad and schnitzel we have tried) is great! So everything was great! Clear recommendation!
